Teach for America

Teach For America finds, develops, and supports a diverse network of leaders who expand opportunities for children from classrooms, schools, and every sector and field that shapes the broader systems in which schools operate. Our corps members spend two years teaching in a high-need public school, receiving professional development while gaining leadership development in responding to issues that stem from educational inequity. Not only do we bring new teachers into classrooms across the state, but also we develop them as leaders and effective advocates for opportunity in education.
