Who We Are
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program has been a crucial part of making local communities more resilient since 1986.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - CERT is a program to educate volunteers in disaster readiness in preparation for hazards that may impact their area. Basic CERT trains individuals in disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations so they can assist first responders and/or care for themselves and others during a disaster event. Specialized training for advanced CERT teams is also available.
