We continue to rebuild hope in the city of New Orleans, by continuing to provide tangible, meaningful, and faith-filled service opportunities for all our out of state and local volunteers.
What We Do
Rebuilding Hope in New Orleans (RHINO) is an outreach ministry of St Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church. Originally, conceived in September of 2005 in response to Hurricane Katrina. RHINO has evolved as a life-changing ministry ever since. Our work focuses on various service projects, and maintaining relationships with our community partners - throughout the city. We have hosted nearly 9,000 volunteers since 2005, and taken numerous Reverse RHINO trips to places who have also experienced catastrophic devastation.
