Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
Every year, communities across the United States and the world are struck by disasters causing widespread damage and impacting the most vulnerable. Many of these events can come with destructive wind-speeds that require chainsaw operations to clear roadways for emergency responders or help a resident gain access to their home. And that's where Team Rubicon volunteers come in. Are you built to serve?
To kick off the 2023 hurricane season with a bang, we're launching a weekend chainsaw training blitz in Slidell, LA and are opening it up to all new volunteers. No previous disaster response or chainsaw operation experience - we'll teach you what you need to know.
All meals, lodging, beverages, tools and equipment will be provided by TR. Just bring yourself! SIGN UP HERE.
