Louisiana Senior Medicare Patrol - AdviseWell, Inc.

Senior Medicare Patrols (SMP) empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report health care fraud, errors, and abuse. The SMP program in Louisiana is sponsored by AdviseWell, Inc. and funded through a grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living.

Provides education to Medicare beneficiaries on how to prevent Medicare fraud, waste, and abuse through community outreach events, group presentations, and individual counseling.
