SEE West Monroe

SEE West Monroe AmeriCorps is part of a national service organization that contributes to communities all across our nation. From educating and mentoring children, to building homes, to protecting the environment, the sky is the limit for what can be achieved by a team of AmeriCorps members.

Members commit to affecting positive change in the lives and education of elementary and middle school students, working in after school, summer and in-school literacy programs. 

During each term, members will also have the opportunity to participate in various service activities such as neighborhood and park cleanup, disaster relief, and many other projects. For each term of service, an AmeriCorps Volunteers gives back over 300 hours of service to our community while earning funds for higher education.
